Barrie has written and performed two solo shows: piece(s) (2007), a performance-art collage, and The Glamorous Life (2010), a cabaret comedy.

Her first full-length play, A Thousand Shapes, received a staged reading in New York as part of MTWork's 2010 National NewBorn Festival. She is currently at work on a new draft.

Her short play More Than Life  was featured in the 2011 First Look Festival at Brown/Trinity Rep.
